  • Conversion of open-burning dumpsites at Beetham, Guanapo, Siparia and Tobago into well-managed landfill operations.
  • Launched the Disaster Emergency Response Team (DERT) following Hurricane Ivan in 2004.
  • Development and implementation of the Downtown Port of Spain Waste Collection Programme on behalf of the Ministry of Local Government.
  • Site selection design, development and management of a landfill at Forres Park, Claxton Bay.
  • Successfully and managed CEPEP’s voluntary assistance to Grenada’s Post-Hurricane Ivan Environmental Restoration Project on behalf of the Government of Trinidad and Tobago.
  • Implementation of Waste Paper Recovery for Recycling Programmes.
  • Development of a feasibility study for a World Bank project to set up solid Waste Management Systems in the OECS countries.
  • Launched country’s first Philatelic and Numismatic Collection featuring environmental conversation in Trinidad and Tobago since gaining Independence in 1962.
  • Development of Bottle Recovery Facility at the Beetham Landfill.
  • Execution of the Waste Management component of a Caribbean Regional Environmental Programme for the CARIFORUM countries.
  • Launched the Dead Animal Removal Team (DART)
  • Implementation of Public Environmental Education Programmes for schools, community groups, industries and the general public.
